...Winter Holidays...

Winter Holidays for Farrell starts from 23 December 2009 - 2 January 2010. But after holiday he has to face Cat 2/1 exam. Two days ago he got exam schedule already. Exam will start on 7 - 14 January 2010. For reading exam will start on 3 - 14 January 2010.

I told Farrell that he can not play all the day, he has to prepare to face exam.

...Football Shoes...

Farrell has new football shoes. Besides cut his hair, farrell bought new football shoes when we went to Abu Dhabi on last Friday.

...Farrell Hair...

Look at picture above. Farrell just cut his hair yesterday. He was pleased with his haircut. Since the first time he cut his hair like that, ever since the moment untill today, he still wanted the same model like as picture above.

...Farrell's Art - Kg1...

Images above are Farrell's art when he was in Kg1. I sticked in the front of his bedroom door, but i didnt stick all his art coz we dont enough space. Some of arts i sticked in the front of my bedroom door.

On the first picture, you can see Farrell handwriting "I love you Mum". He always wrote that words to me and his daddy. I didnt want to stick that, but farrell did it. I forgot to took other picture which Farrell handwriting "I love you Dad".

...Farrell & Pencil Sharpener...

Farrell on a long holiday now. Three days ago Farrell went to his friend house to play. His friend has a pencil sharpener. He told me that he wanted that pencil sharpener as his friend. I told him that he has so many pencil sharpener. He explained to me that it was a mechanical pencil sharpener.

He said,"Tonight we have to go to the bookshop to buy a pencil sharpener".
I said," Today the bookshop closed. I promise tomorrow we will go there to buy a pencil sharpener".

I look at his face. He looked disappointed.

Now, he has a new mechanical pencil sharpener. He looks happy.He sharpened his pencils immediately after we bought it.

...Rumah Palagan - Jogja - 2009

During the long vacation in the month of July 2009. We went to Jogja to attend Farrell's uncle wedding. We stayed at Rumah Palagan, Kaliurang - Jogja. Farrell was so happy to staying there. See Farrell's pictures at Rumah Palagan.

...Farrell & Sand Castle..

When Ied Al-Adha holiday on 27 November 2009, we went to Abu Dhabi and stayed there one night at Corniche resident . We prefer to stay at Corniche coz near to Corniche beach. We can go there by walk.

Look at picture above. He found a nice sand castle. He wanna me to take his picture with sand castle. He like it so much.

I got surprise from google...Everytime i opened my blog, i always see the pagerank...Last night when i opened this blog, i saw the pagerank..this is really surprise for me coz almost one month i didnt open my blog..Now my pagerank is 3...I hope Google doesnt change to be zero again...

...Farrell Exam - Gr 1...

Farrell Exam will be start on Sunday 4 Oct 2009 - Thursday 8 Oct 2009. But for reading exam has finished this week.

When he finished for reading exam, he told me that he could read those sentences and words. I hope he told me honestly. And I hope next week he can do the best.

...Holiday of Ied Mubarak 2009...

When Ied Mubarak day on Sunday 20 September 2009, we went to Dubai. We stay there 1 night at Dunes Hotel Apartments. This hotel near Mall of Emirates, we can walk to go there.

In the afternoon, we went to Dubai Mall to see Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo. If you wanna know about Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo, you can click here. On the way to Dubai Mall, Farrell saw double-decker with half roof.

Farrell ask," what kind of bus is that?".
I answer," that is bus but we call double-decker and that bus for tour in Dubai".
He said," I wanna ride double-decker".
I said,"Tomorrow we will ride double-decker,"

After that we went to Mall of Emirates until the midnight.

The following day, we went to Mall of Emirates again to rode Dubai Metro train. Dubai Metro is a train, driverless, fully automated network in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Click here about Dubai Metro.

Every time we went to Mall of Emirates, Farrell always want to come and play in Snow Park. I told to Farrell that you have to choose, snow park or bus tour coz we didnt have time if u choose both. Farrell told me that he wanna both. After few minutes, Farrell decides that he wanna play in the Snow Park. I told him that next holiday we will ride the bus tour.

Holiday of Ied Mubarak for Farrell start on 18 sept - 26 sept 2009.

...Farrell activities...

One of Farrell activities at home is disturb me when i was in the front of my laptop. He took some pictures from laptop. Look at his expression on the pictures below.

...back to school...

Last monday was first day of farrell in grade 1. His class is Grade 1-G, this is the last class of grade 1. Those days were busy days for farrell and me coz we aren't staying in one school again. I am in Infant School and Farrell in Junior School.

Everyday I always ask to Farrell about his study and activities there. One day Farrell told me that he got Arabic lesson and he can not write in Arabic. That was surprise for me. I told him that I will teach you how to write in Arabic.

When i went to bed after those conversation, I was thinking how to teach him write in Arabic. I must ask someone about this. I will do my best dear.

...Kids Salon...

Time to cut Farrell hair again. He doesnt want to cut his hair here. He want to cut his hair in Abu Dhabi only. He has a favorite kids salon there. Yesterday afternoon we went to Abu Dhabi around 4 pm.

On the way to Abu Dhabi, he told me that he want to cut his hair like Goku Dragon Ball.

...Summer Holiday to Indonesia...

3 july 2009 we went to Indonesia for vacation. We will stay to Indonesia for 1 month only. We have visited to my all family and all beautiful places in Java.

We will go back to Abu Dhabi on 2 august 2009. I will post all the pictures in the next posting

...Birthday Party...

This picture took around 3 weeks ago when Farrell came to birthday party. He got many things from the party like he worn on this picture.

Last Thursday afternoon, he came to birthday party again. When we were in the car, he asked me," when i celebrate my birthday party?". He said ," I wanna celebrate my birthday, I wanna presents from all people who come to my party."

I said ," You celebrated your birthday party when you were 1 year, so many people come to your house and they gave you presents. I have job now, nobody will prepare everything for your birthday. But I promise you will celebrate your birthday on November".

He looks happy when i told him like that.

...Happy Coloring...

Last Friday, I and Farrell went to Abu Dhabi. Farrell bought coloring t-shirt at Bossini Kids. There are 1 white t-shirt and fabric markers in one plastic pocket.

Yesterday, he started to coloring the t-shirt. After one hour he showed me what he have done. Look at below pictures. When i took the pictures, he told me that i wanna hold the t-shirt.

...Watch Dragon Ball Movie at home...

Last Thursday was the last day of Farrell's exam. When we were sitting together talking about his exam, Farrell told us that i don't like exam. And then His daddy told him that he has surprised for him.

This morning his daddy downloaded Dragon Ball movie from internet. Now, Farrell and his daddy are watching. He looks happy watch that movie. Because when Dragon Ball movie was showing at the cinema in Abu Dhabi, we didn't have time went to Abu Dhabi to watch that movie.

...Last Exam of Farrell...

This week is the last exam for Farrell in KG2. So many papers he has to study. Sometimes I feel guilty coz as long as exam i always force him to study more than 2 hours everyday. But i have to do that, coz i wanna he get a good result in the report card. I hope.

...New Look...

I always bought a magazine weekly. When i brought magazine last week. Farrell took from me that magazine directly. He looked over the cover. Suddenly he told me that I wanna cut my hair like this. He pointed a boy in the cover. He told me again that i want to be handsome like him.

Last Friday, when we went to Abu Dhabi. I brought that magazine which i will show to the hairdresser.

...Ski Dubai...

When my mom and my brother came here in Dec 2007, we went to Ski Dubai.

The Ski Dubai is a part of Mall of Emirates. If you wanna go to Ski Dubai, you have to entrance to Mall of Emirates.

In the ski Dubai there is snow park which you won’t meet boredom, go crazy in the tobogganing hills, or in a twin track bobsled ride. Also, a snowball throwing gallery and a snow cavern filled with interactive experiences and amazing sights and sounds await you for an unforgettable journey. I, Farrell and my brother went inside the ski dubai. My hubby and my mother just stayed outside. They just saw us from outside and took our picture. Farrell like play there, coz he can play and make a snowball.

...French - Week 6-7...

French lesson of week 6-7/term 3 for Farrell are :

I also have to learn French every week before i teach Farrell at home. It's too hard for me to learn French.

...Dragon Ball...

Last Friday, I and farrell went to Abu Dhabi. We just wanna refresh, go to a salon and buy something which we need. I didnt tell farrell that we wanna watch movie there.

When we were in Marina Mall. Suddenly farrell told me that we must go to the cinema to watch movie. And then he told me again that I wanna watch Dragon Ball movie. I was surprised cause he still remember when i read magazine, there was reviews movie of dragon ball. I told him that we have to watch dragon ball if we go to Abu Dhabi.

Farrell started to cry when i told him that we cannot watch movie now. I tried to explain that we went here by bus, the bus will not wait us. We will watch dragon ball when we and your daddy go here by car.

...French...

Additional language for Farrell at school is French. I thought French is difficult language as i know, cause i can't teach Farrell. Fortunate, I am working at school, so i can ask to the teacher how to say in French each words. Last week farrell had French lesson as follows :

- fraise = strawberry
- orange = orange
- banane = banana
- raisain = grape
- pomme = apple
- poire = pear
- kiwi = kiwi

Cause he had assessment last week, so he learned few words only. Maybe next week he will get more words, it means make me dizzy to teach him.

...The Term III Break...

Farrell has holiday term III, it will start on Sunday April 5th, 2009 till Sunday April 12th, 2009. Farrell thought that no study at home in those day. But after holiday he has assessment, that means he have to study at home every night like usual.

Tomorrow we are going to Abu Dhabi for refreshing. We want to watch movie again in the cinema and go to the book store.

Last Friday, we watched movie "Hotel For Dogs". That was first time farrell went to the cinema. He was very impress. He just looked at the back where there were many light from the camera.

...Happy Mother's Day...

Mother's day in UAE on 21 March 2009. You can check definition of mother's day here. Every countries celebrate mothers day. But Celebration of Mothers day different in each country.

Everyone want to celebrates Mothers Day. They will buy some gifts for their mother. They want to give something special to their mother.

For my country, mothers day celebrates on 22 December.

I wish farrell give me something special on the Mothers Day tomorrow.

...Term 3 Kg 2...

Ternyata minggu ini sudah memasuki term 3 buat farrell di Kg 2, setelah akhir bulan yang lalu final exam term 2. Hasil dari exam term 2 sendiri sih belom ada, mudah2an minggu depan sudah keluar hasil examnya.

Setiap malem saat kasih belajar farrell, selalu saja aku membayangkan, gimana yah farrell kalo di Grade 1 nanti. Bisa gak yah dia ngikuti pelajaran, atau gimana nanti pas exam nanti, bisa gak yah dia jawab pertanyaan di exam nanti.

Alhamdulillah, saat ini Farrell udah bisa baca walaupun cuma bacaan yang simple sesuai dengan yang sudah dipelajari di sekolah. Kalo ada kata2 di koran yang dia bisa eja dan baca, dia pasti kasih tau aku. Dan ternyata dia baca dengan benar.

Di Term 3 ini, aku sih berharap semangat dia dalam belajar tetep ada dan bertambah. Agar hasil di akhir term 3 ini juga memuaskan.

...prophet's birthday...

Prophet's birthday or Mawlid in UAE on March 08, 2009. It is Public holiday for all federal ministries, departments and institutions. March 08 is Monday, thats meaning all people will enjoy a long holiday.

Everyone like holiday included farrell. He always wait for holiday. He looks happy when i told him that we have 3 days holiday.

...farrell's Exam...

Akhirnya selesai juga exam-nya farrell..Seminggu yang lalu memang hari2 yang melelahkan bagi kami, karena harus menyediakan waktu yang banyak untuk farrell menghadapi exam.

Tapi exam untuk term 2 ini sudah berakhir, tinggal menunggu hasil dari exam itu sendiri. Mudah2an sih hasilnya memuaskan karena kami sudah bekerja keras agar farrell siap menjawab pertanyaan2 dalam exam itu.
